Fayette Electric believes in giving back to the community through various organizations that its owners and team members care about. Notably, we are very involved with the Autism Society of the Bluegrass and Eastern Little League (see below for more details). We also sponsor many other youth organizations such as the Clark County HS Fishing Team, Bluegrass Theater Guild, and Pulaski County HS Band. In addition to youth programs, Fayette Electric supports other charitable organizations such as Legacy Greenscapes, the Bob Brown House and the IEC of Kentucky Foundation. We regularly have team members that donate their time and construction expertise to Habitat for Humanity.
One of Fayette Electric’s owners has a son (Brian) diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a mild neurological condition on the Autism Spectrum. In Brian’s honor, Fayette Electric is a strong supporter of the Autism Society of the Bluegrass who offers support and resources for folks on the Autism Spectrum. We have participated in fundraising efforts for the organization since 2011 and Brian has led the annual Autism Walk for many years now, an honor reserved for the Team that raises the most funds. With early intervention, a supportive family, and support services Brian and many others on the Autism Spectrum will become successful, productive citizens in their community.
Fayette Electric is a proud sponsor of Eastern Little League, where both of Fayette Electric’s owner’s sons played baseball and Brandon continues to coach there. Fayette Electric believes that youth sports provides a wonderful foundation for leadership in the community.
